What’s in the bag

Numbered in the order you’ll use them. One system in four parts. The Playbook holds the judgment, the Workbook makes you act on it before money moves, and the Kit is the only thing anyone else ever sees.

00Start Here & The Two Screens

PDF · 10 pages

What this business actually is, the three findings that decide whether it survives, which model you are running, the gate before money moves, and the honest page about what this will not do.

  • 00-Start-Here-and-The-Two-Screens.pdf

01The Seller’s Playbook

PDF · 26 pages

The durable core: what you may sell and how to check it, contribution and cash as separate questions, supplier verification, the capped bet, listings and your own content, creators as distribution you buy, the dispatch clock, account health, reading your record, and how to re-verify every platform fact yourself.

  • 01-The-Sellers-Playbook.pdf

02The Seller Workbook

Excel / Google Sheets · 6 connected tabs

The file the business runs on: every platform number dated in one place and feeding every calculation, two screens that gate an economic verdict, contribution and cash computed separately, one row per buy cycle, one row per creator, and the calibration that tells you to restock, change or kill.

  • 02-The-Seller-Workbook.xlsx

03The Seller’s Kit

Word / Google Docs · 6 documents

The things you actually send: supplier questions that disqualify a bad supplier early, a sample assessment, a listing skeleton, creator outreach for targeted collaboration, sample terms, and the after-sales replies that beat the response clock.

A closer look inside

Pages and spreadsheet views from the files you download, not mockups. Open any one to read it.

What you’ll be able to do

Each one names the file that does it.

  • Find out what you are not allowed to sell before you pay for it

Most categories a beginner would pick need documentation approval before anything can be listed, and approval is never certain. The screen asks that question first, and refuses to price a product you cannot sell.

    02 · The Seller Workbook

  • See what one order actually earns

What one order leaves you after everything the platform, the creator and the returns take out of it. That is a different number from the one on your dashboard, and usually a much smaller one.

    02 · The Seller Workbook

  • Know whether you can afford the wait

Money leaves for stock today and comes back on the platform’s schedule, with a reserve on top and a return window running underneath. Profitable and affordable are two different questions, answered separately.

    01 · The Seller’s Playbook

  • Make one capped bet instead of a hopeful one

A first order sized by cash you can have locked up rather than cash you can afford to lose, with a supplier you verified from a sample rather than a listing photo.

    01 · The Seller’s Playbook and 03 · The Seller’s Kit

  • Find out which creators actually paid for themselves

Commission plus sample, against the orders they really produced. A creator with impressive sales can be your least profitable channel, and only your own record will tell you which.

    02 · The Seller Workbook

  • Get an honest verdict: restock, change one thing, or stop

From your own buy cycles: real contribution, your real refund rate against the one you assumed, and whether the cash has come back yet.

    02 · The Seller Workbook

Who it’s for

  • You want to sell your own products on TikTok Shop and keep the money, not promote someone else’s
  • You have limited capital and cannot afford one bad inventory decision
  • You want to know what an order actually earns before you order a hundred of them
  • You would rather be told not to sell something than find out after it arrives
  • You want your own results to decide the next move, not a screenshot of someone else’s

Who it’s not for

  • You want to be a TikTok Shop affiliate creator. That is the other side of this transaction, and a different business
  • You want a list of winning products. There is none here, and the bag explains why looking for one is the problem
  • You want income projections or revenue screenshots
  • You already run a multi-SKU shop and need scheduling or repricing software
  • You want to buy from a retailer and ship it on, resell gray-market branded goods, or ship to US buyers straight from overseas: the first two are prohibited, and the third is not a first move

Six phases. One gate.

The gate sits before any inventory money moves: the product is eligible, the economics clear a floor you set, the supplier is verified from a sample in your hands, and the cash is money you can have unavailable for weeks.

Read 00 · Start Here first, then Chapters 1–6 of the Playbook before you spend anything. Everything after that is used while operating rather than read.

  1. Choose the model you can actually run

You can say which business you are operating and which fulfillment path is actually available to you, instead of copying someone whose situation is not yours.

    Start Here (00) · Playbook ch. 1–2
  2. Screen it before you spend a dollar

Whether you may sell it at all, and then whether you should. A product you cannot sell never receives an economic green light.

    Playbook ch. 3 · Workbook (02) Screen & Economics
  3. Sample it and verify the supplier

The item in your hands, the real landed cost, and a supplier whose dispatch you checked rather than assumed.

    Playbook ch. 4 · Seller’s Kit (03)
  4. Make one capped bet

A first order sized by cash you can have locked up for weeks, with the contribution and the cash timeline written down before the money moves.

    Playbook ch. 5–6 · Workbook (02)
    Before the money moves
  5. Buy distribution, and measure what it bought

Your own content first, then creators, with every sample and commission attached to the orders it actually produced.

Playbook ch. 7–8 · Workbook (02) Creator Log
  6. Operate, measure, and decide

The numbers that gate the shop, your actuals against your estimates, and an honest verdict: restock, change one thing, or kill it.

Playbook ch. 9–12 · Workbook (02) SKU Log, Calibration

What it doesn’t do

  • No platform fact from a blog or a guru: eleven TikTok policy pages were read at source, and anything that could not be confirmed there ships visibly unconfirmed
  • Cannot get a category approved, keep a shop from being restricted, or promise that TikTok Shop stays open to US sellers on today’s rules. Those are TikTok’s decisions; the bag prepares you for them and tells you where to re-check
  • Not legal, tax or accounting advice: verification paths only

How it was made

  • Researched in September 2026 from eleven TikTok Shop US seller policy pages read at source, plus federal and state guidance for the non-platform half.
  • Every platform rule is quoted with the page it came from and the date it was read, because this platform rewrote its enforcement, settlement and fulfillment rules inside a single year.
  • Five widely repeated figures could not be confirmed on a TikTok page, so none of them ships as a value: the ones the workbook needs are blank rows, visibly marked unconfirmed, and no calculation runs on them.
  • The workbook was tested against 30 independently computed scenarios, including proof that a prohibited product produces no economics at all and that the tool refuses to size a bet rather than invent a settlement figure.

Before you buy

The questions people ask about this bag. More on the support page.

Is this about becoming a TikTok affiliate or influencer?

No. It is the opposite side of that transaction. You own the shop, the stock and the money. Creators appear only as a distribution channel you buy and measure, and the bag judges them on contribution rather than on views.

Do I need an audience or a following?

No. When we read TikTok’s seller registration pages (September 2026) there was no follower requirement to open a shop; that gate belongs to the affiliate side, and the workbook’s rules tab says where to re-check it. The bag is honest that demand has to come from somewhere though, and it treats your own content, affiliate creators and paid promotion as three different costs with three different economics.

How much inventory do I need to buy?

The bag refuses to answer that with a number, because no honest universal one exists. It gives you a way to size a first order from cash you can have locked up for weeks. That is the constraint that actually matters, because the money is unavailable rather than lost.

TikTok changes constantly. Will this go out of date?

Parts of it will, and the product is built for that. Every changeable platform figure lives on one dated tab in the workbook with where to check it, and every calculation reads from there, so when a fee moves you edit one row. The judgment in the Playbook does not depend on any of those numbers staying still. We re-check the time-sensitive figures from time to time, and when something material changes we may send existing customers updated files (see the support page).

Is this just the Dropshipping LaunchBag with TikTok on the cover?

No. On a store you own the checkout, the traffic and the money. Inside a marketplace the platform owns all three: it decides whether you may list your category, which fulfillment paths you get, when your money is released, and whether you keep selling. Almost none of it transfers.

Is this made or endorsed by TikTok?

No. LaunchBag has no connection with TikTok. The bag was researched from TikTok Shop’s published US seller policies, read at source and dated; TikTok had no part in making it and has not reviewed or approved it. TikTok and TikTok Shop are trademarks of their owner, used here only to say what the bag is about.
